How We’re Responding to COVID-19
To our community of customers, partners, contributors, and friends:
We are all facing a dynamic and difficult situation in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our families, friends, customers, employees, and communities are all dramatically affected by the impact of the virus and its impact on the global economy. During this time, I wanted to reach out and tell you how Anaconda is responding to the situation.
Most importantly, our hearts go out to anyone impacted by the virus, especially those who are sick. We are also incredibly grateful to the healthcare workers, first responders, and other people who work to ensure we have healthcare, food, safety, shelter, and sanitation.
Along with so many others, we are prioritizing the safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate. Our teams have been working from home since March 9, and we have eliminated all travel for the time being. This means that our touchpoints with you will be entirely digital for the foreseeable future; in today’s world this is a minor adjustment and we plan to make every effort to minimize disruption.
Our support team remains available to help customers as it always has been. Our implementation team is continuing business as usual to get customers live and upgraded quickly. The entire Anaconda team remains focused on delivering the very best data science software, services, and customer support, as well as continuing our commitment and support of the open source community.
In this new climate, data science will be more important than ever. Our team is ready to help you with any expertise you need to navigate the uncertainty in your business now and in the future.
Some of you may also be wondering about our plans for AnacondaCON this year. At this time, the event is scheduled to take place here in Austin June 3 – 5. We want to assure you that we will not hold AnacondaCON as an in-person event if there is any risk in doing so. We are monitoring the situation closely and will consider moving the event or hosting it digitally if necessary. We appreciate your patience as we navigate the changing situation.
